Run the same exercise on your own matches. The important comparison is between decisions made with the same information—not between your choice and an opponent’s position revealed later.
Check both compositions, your team’s purchases, likely enemy equipment, available ultimates, and the previous round’s tendencies. Build a simple opening plan: the space you want, utility needed to take it, and the condition that makes you stop.

Separate confirmed facts from assumptions. “Sova dart B” confirms one ability and its origin, not five defenders. Update the map with enemy count, Agent identity, utility, direction, and time. If a defender leaves no evidence, preserve the possibility that they stayed.
Ask who is forced to move. Attackers with the Spike and little time may need to commit; defenders protecting a lead can make the attack clear them. When a rotation is likely, consider the fastest safe path, noise, flank timing, and whether unused utility can delay or verify it.
Make opponents solve multiple connected threats rather than offering isolated duels. Keep trade distance, protect the objective, and hold complementary lines. A five-versus-three does not need to become three separate one-versus-ones.
Note the plant position, time, remaining defuse utility, and whether teammates can see or swing from their positions. Do not retreat into a “lineup” that cannot stop a fast defuse or abandon a teammate who must take first contact alone.

During a replay, hide or ignore enemy information your live character did not have. Pause at 20–30 second intervals and mark the two most likely enemy areas. Score whether the prediction was reasonable from the evidence, not merely whether it was exact.
For ten matches, tag each lost round as opening death, trade failure, utility error, economy mismatch, rotation error, or conversion error. Practice the largest category for one week. This is more actionable than tracking kill/death ratio alone.
