There are no public League of Legends redeem codes that we can verify as active today. Riot’s most recent widely shared codes were short-lived League Classic promotions, and community reports indicate that those offers have expired.
That is less exciting than a page filled with random strings, but it is more useful. Most “working LoL code” lists recycle used gift-card numbers, expired event codes, or completely invented codes. We removed the old unverified list from this page and will only mark a code active when there is credible evidence that Riot released it and the redemption window is still open.
Active League of Legends Codes
As of August 14, 2026, we have no verified active public promo codes for League of Legends PC. This does not mean Riot’s redemption system has closed. It means there is no reusable public giveaway code we can responsibly recommend right now.
Riot usually distributes content codes through official social posts, live events, esports promotions, merchandise, or selected partners. These offers can be limited by time, quantity, or region. A code may therefore stop working before every announcement about it disappears.
There is no public code generator that creates free Riot Points. Prepaid RP codes are individually purchased, one-use codes. Never enter your Riot password into a third-party “generator,” survey, download, or Discord verification page.
Recently Expired LoL Codes
Riot released the following League Classic codes in late July and early August 2026. They granted a Classic champion icon and a matching profile background, but the redemption windows were extremely short. Reports from players indicate that all five have expired.

Some regions received variants with a different letter before 0123. Trying every possible variation is unlikely to help once Riot has closed the promotion. We will move a code back to the active section if Riot re-enables it.
How to Redeem a League of Legends Code
The simplest method works in a desktop or mobile browser:
- Open Riot’s official code redemption page.
- Enter the code exactly as Riot supplied it, including hyphens.
- Sign in to the Riot account that should receive the reward.
- Review the displayed reward and confirm the redemption.
- Open League of Legends and check the relevant inventory, collection, or currency balance.
Riot says content normally appears immediately, although delivery can occasionally take up to 24 hours. If it is still missing after a day, contact Riot Support and include the source of the code.
Redeeming inside the League client
You can also open the League client, enter the Store, select the account or code option near the top-right area, and choose Redeem Codes or Prepaid Cards & Codes. Riot changes client labels occasionally, so the official web page is usually easier to follow.
Promo Codes, Content Codes, and Gift Cards
Not every Riot code works the same way. Knowing which type you have explains most redemption errors.

Riot’s current support guide says prepaid cash codes do not expire, but they must match the purchase region. Content codes are generally usable across regions unless the promotion says otherwise, and they can expire or reach a redemption limit.

Why Your LoL Code Is Not Working
- It expired. Public promotions can last only a day or a few days.
- It was already redeemed. Gift cards and individual content codes are single-use.
- The promotion hit its limit. Some campaigns close after a fixed number of claims.
- The region is wrong. This is especially common with prepaid RP cards.
- The code was copied incorrectly. Check similar characters such as 0/O and 1/I, remove spaces, and keep the hyphens.
- You already own the content. Riot does not grant duplicate compensation for a one-use content code.
- It was never real. Long lists of generic four-block codes are frequently fabricated or previously used gift-card numbers.
Do not repeatedly submit guessed variations. If you purchased the code, keep the receipt and contact the seller or Riot’s prepaid-card support. Riot may need proof of purchase to investigate an activation problem.
Legitimate Ways to Get Free LoL Rewards
Redeem codes are not the main way Riot distributes free rewards. Missions, event tracks, Honor rewards, ranked rewards, esports drops, and Hextech crafting are usually more reliable than waiting for a public code.

Can I redeem a code for free RP?
Riot sometimes runs promotions, but there is no permanent public code that gives everyone free RP. Prepaid RP codes are purchased, region-locked, and usable once.
Can two people use the same code?
It depends on the promotion. A public campaign code may work for many accounts until its deadline or claim limit. Gift cards and individually issued content codes work only once.
Do Riot gift-card codes expire?
Riot’s current support documentation says prepaid cash codes do not expire. They remain region-locked and must be redeemed into one supported Riot game and account.
Can I redeem a LoL code on my phone?
Yes. Open Riot’s official redemption page in a mobile browser and sign in. The reward is still attached to the relevant Riot account and game.
Are these codes for Wild Rift?
No. This page covers League of Legends on PC. Wild Rift promotions and redemption rules are separate, so a code advertised for one game may not work in the other.

League of Legends codes are real, but public promotions are uncommon and usually brief. There are no verified active giveaway codes today. Use Riot’s official redemption page, distrust free-RP generators, and keep a receipt for any prepaid code you buy.
