Fortnite has been around for years, and with every new season bringing fresh cosmetics, bundles, and events, it’s easy to lose track of how much you’ve actually spent. From V-Bucks purchases to exclusive skins, many players end up investing far more than they realize without ever keeping a proper record. Thankfully, Epic Games provides multiple ways to review your purchase history and see your total spending. In this guide, we’ll walk you through all the methods you can use to check how much money you’ve spent on Fortnite, so you can finally get a clear picture of your in-game expenses.
Finding out how much money you’ve spent on Fortnite takes a little effort, since Epic Games doesn’t provide a one-click summary of your total spending. Instead, you’ll need to review your account activity and add things up yourself. To do this, sign in to your Epic Games account through the launcher or website, then head over to Account Settings. From there, go to the Payments & Rewards tab and check the Transactions section. You’ll see three important areas: “Purchases,” which lists Fortnite bundles and DLCs, “Subscriptions,” which includes Fortnite Crew memberships, and “V-Bucks Redemptions,” which shows any codes you’ve redeemed. By going through each of these and tallying the amounts, you’ll be able to figure out exactly how much you’ve invested in Fortnite. While it isn’t automatic, this is the most accurate way to track your spending history.
Keeping track of your V-Bucks balance is a great way to manage your spending and know exactly how much in-game currency you have available. You can easily check it through your Epic Games account. After logging in, head to your Account Settings and open the Payments & Rewards section. From there, click on In-Game Currency and select Fortnite. This will bring up a detailed breakdown of your V-Bucks. The first section, “Redeemable only on specified platform,” shows V-Bucks that are locked to a certain device, like Nintendo Switch or PlayStation. The second section, “Redeemable on any platform,” lists the balance you can freely use across all supported platforms, usually earned through gameplay or promotions. By checking both sections, you’ll always know how much currency you can spend right away and what’s tied to a specific system.
Tracking how much you’ve spent on Fortnite may take a little effort, but it’s worth it if you want a clear picture of your gaming expenses. By reviewing your transaction history and checking your current V-Bucks balance, you can better understand your spending habits and decide whether you want to cut back or continue investing in cosmetics and passes. Fortnite’s constant updates and new content make it tempting to spend, but staying aware of your purchases ensures you enjoy the game without losing control of your budget.
