In Episode 7: Evolution, Valorant unveiled Kingdom Credits (KC), a new in-game currency that fundamentally alters player engagement with the game’s economy and content access. Unlike Valorant Points or Radianite Points, which can be purchased with real money, Kingdom Credits are earned exclusively through gameplay. Importantly, there’s a maximum limit of 10,000 KC, encouraging players to spend them rather than hoard. This guide explores various strategies to earn Kingdom Credits effectively, highlighting how the system incentivizes active play and skillful performance.
Playing Team-Based Game Modes.
Earning Kingdom Credits in Valorant primarily involves participating in Team-based game modes. Each mode rewards players with KC based on their participation and success. In standard modes such as Unrated, Competitive, Swiftplay, and Premier, players receive 2 KC for every round they play and an additional 4 KC for each round they win. Other modes like Spike Rush and Team Deathmatch provide a fixed reward of 20 KC per match. Meanwhile, Escalation and Free-for-All Deathmatch grant players 15 KC upon the completion of a match. This system not only incentivizes regular play but also rewards winning and strategic gameplay across different formats.
Valorant’s daily checkpoint system offers players an efficient method to boost their Kingdom Credit (KC) accumulation. Each day, players are presented with a set of objectives that, when completed, reward them with 150 KC per checkpoint. With four such checkpoints available daily, it’s possible to earn a total of 600 KC. These daily objectives generally revolve around winning a specified number of rounds or participating in various game modes, making it a productive way to enhance your KC reserves while honing your gameplay skills across different areas of Valorant.
Riot Games periodically enhances the Valorant experience by introducing special events or updates that provide additional opportunities to earn Kingdom Credits (KC). For instance, with the initial rollout of KC, players were generously given a one-time bonus of 5,000 KC.
Further opportunities to accrue KC can be found through the Agent Gear system. Players who advance to Tier 5 in an Agent’s Gear store are rewarded with 2,000 KC for each qualifying agent, excluding original agents like Brimstone, Jett, Phoenix, Sage, and Sova.
By leveraging these methods to accumulate Kingdom Credits, players can enrich their Valorant experience by unlocking new content and tailoring their gameplay, all without the need for real-world spending. Keep in mind to spend your KC diligently, as the balance is capped at 10,000 KC, encouraging regular use and engagement.
Utilizing Kingdom Credits effectively opens up new avenues for enhancing your Valorant experience. Here’s how you can spend this valuable currency:
1. Acquiring Agents: New agents are initially available exclusively through the purchase of VALORANT Points or by earning 200,000 XP during the first four weeks after their release, known as the Recruitment Event. Once this period ends, both new and previously released agents can be unlocked for 8,000 Kingdom Credits without any waiting period.
2. Agent Accessories: Beyond agents, Kingdom Credits can be used to purchase agent-specific accessories like titles, player cards, and weapon skins. The cost for these items increases with each tier; starting at 2,000 Kingdom Credits for tier 1 items and reaching up to 8,000 Kingdom Credits for the highest tier. Note, however, that Tier 5 of an agent contract cannot be directly purchased but is instead rewarded with 2,000 Kingdom Credits upon unlocking.
3. Accessory Store: A recent addition to Valorant, the Accessory Store offers a daily rotation of Battle Pass items such as Gun Buddies, Sprays, and Titles previously missed, available exclusively for purchase with Kingdom Credits. Prices vary based on the item’s rarity and demand.
It’s important to remember that the cap on Kingdom Credits is set at 10,000 to encourage regular use and engagement with the game’s economy. This system not only promotes active gameplay but also strategic spending and investment in your game progression.
Kingdom Credits offer Valorant players a valuable currency to enhance their gaming experience without spending real money. By engaging in match-made games, completing daily checkpoints, and participating in special events or promotions, players can accumulate KC to unlock new agents, customize with agent-specific accessories, and purchase unique items from the Accessory Store. Understanding and utilizing these methods effectively allows players to maximize their rewards and enjoy a richer, more customized gameplay experience. Keep an eye on your KC balance and spend wisely to make the most of what Valorant’s evolving economy has to offer.
