The Fortnite Endgame LTM has returned, bringing back one of the most iconic limited-time modes in the game. Just like before, this mode splits players into two large teams that battle over the powerful Infinity Stones, turning the match into a fast-paced fight for control.
Each stone gives unique abilities, making them extremely valuable during the game. Because of that, knowing how to collect them quickly can give your team a huge advantage early on.
In this guide, we’ll break down how Infinity Stones work in the Endgame LTM and the best way to secure them so you can take control of the match and dominate your opponents.

In the Fortnite Endgame LTM, players are divided into two sides: the Avengers and the Chitauri. The main objective for the Chitauri team is to collect all the Infinity Stones and empower Thanos, while the Avengers need to stop them by eliminating enemies and preventing the stones from being secured.
If you’re playing as a Chitauri, finding Infinity Stones is all about paying attention during the match. The game will alert you when a stone is about to spawn, so timing and awareness are key.
Here’s how to locate and collect them step by step:
At the start of the match, stay alert for a notification that an Infinity Stone is incoming. Once it spawns, look toward the sky. You’ll see a bright beam of light marking the exact location of the stone.
You can also track it through your HUD, as the stone will appear on your mini-map and compass, making it easier to navigate directly to it.
Once you reach the location, you’ll need to interact with the stone to claim it. This takes a few seconds, so you’re exposed while doing it. It’s a good idea to have teammates nearby to protect you during the process.
If you’re the first player on your team to secure a stone, you’ll transform into Thanos, giving you a huge advantage in the match. From there, your goal is to create pressure while your team continues collecting the remaining stones.
If you’re on the Avengers side, your job is to stop this from happening. You’ll have access to special Avengers weapons designed to counter Thanos and the Chitauri, so focus on defending stone locations and interrupting captures whenever possible.
Understanding how and where Infinity Stones spawn is the key to winning this mode. The faster your team reacts, the easier it becomes to control the game.

In the Fortnite Endgame LTM, the Infinity Stones do much more than just progress the objective. Each stone gives powerful upgrades that make Thanos stronger and also boost the entire Chitauri team, making them harder to stop as the match goes on.
Here’s a breakdown of what each Infinity Stone does:
Reality Stone (Red)
This stone greatly increases Thanos’ durability by boosting his total health and shields, making him much harder to eliminate in fights.
Soul Stone (Orange)
With this stone, Thanos gains shields whenever he eliminates an enemy, allowing him to sustain longer during fights and recover quickly after engagements.
Mind Stone (Yellow)
This upgrade improves Thanos’ mobility by letting him jump much higher, making it easier to chase enemies or reposition across the map.
Space Stone (Blue)
The Space Stone enhances Thanos’ abilities by increasing their range and damage, allowing him to hit more targets at once and deal significantly more impact in fights.
Time Stone (Green)
This stone boosts Thanos’ melee attacks, making them much stronger and adding a powerful knockback effect that can push enemies away easily.
Power Stone (Purple)
The Power Stone upgrades Thanos’ beam attack, making it deal much higher damage and become far more dangerous in combat.
On top of all these effects, every Infinity Stone collected also increases the health of all Chitauri players, making the entire team stronger as more stones are secured.
Understanding these buffs is key, because the more stones your team controls, the harder it becomes for the Avengers to stop you.
When the Chitauri team manages to secure all six Infinity Stones, the match shifts completely in their favor. At that point, you’ll see a message on screen confirming that the Infinity Gauntlet is complete, signaling a major turning point in the game.
The biggest change is that the Avengers lose their ability to respawn. Up until then, they can keep coming back into the fight, but once all the stones are collected, every elimination becomes permanent.
Since the Endgame LTM is based on a Team Rumble-style format, both teams normally rely on respawns to stay in the game. The Avengers have unlimited respawns early on, while the Chitauri have a limited pool. Once all stones are collected, that advantage disappears for the Avengers.
From that moment, the Chitauri team only needs to eliminate the remaining Avengers players to win the match. However, there’s still some pressure on the Chitauri side. If they run out of their own respawns before finishing the game, the remaining players, including Thanos if he’s still alive, must survive without any second chances.
This final phase is where the match becomes intense, as every fight matters and one mistake can decide the outcome.
Infinity Stones appear at marked locations during the match. When one is about to spawn, you’ll see a clear indicator on your mini-map and compass, along with a beam of light in the sky showing exactly where to go.
Once every stone is secured, the Avengers lose their ability to respawn. From that point, the Chitauri team just needs to eliminate the remaining players to win the game.
You become Thanos by being the first player on the Chitauri team to pick up an Infinity Stone. After that, you gain access to his abilities and become a major threat in the match.
No, only the Chitauri team can collect Infinity Stones. The Avengers’ role is to defend the map and stop the Chitauri from securing them.
It takes a few seconds to claim a stone once you reach it. During that time, you’re vulnerable, so it’s important to have teammates nearby to protect you while collecting it.
Collecting Infinity Stones in the Fortnite Endgame LTM is what decides the outcome of the match. The faster your team secures them, the stronger you become, and the harder it gets for the Avengers to fight back. From tracking their location to protecting teammates during collection, every step plays a role in gaining control of the game.
Understanding how each stone works and how they boost both Thanos and the Chitauri team gives you a clear advantage. The more organized and coordinated your team is, the easier it becomes to dominate once multiple stones are secured.
At the end of the day, this mode is all about timing, teamwork, and map awareness. If you stay alert and prioritize the stones, you’ll put your team in the best position to win consistently.
