Aglaea is the latest 5-star limited character introduced in Honkai: Star Rail’s second phase of Version 3.0. As the first-ever 5-star unit on the Path of Remembrance, she takes on the role of a main DPS, excelling in crowd control and high burst damage.
In this guide, we’ll break down the best ways to build Aglaea, including optimal Light Cones, Relics, and skill priorities, to help you maximize her potential and dominate the battlefield.
• Name: Aglaea
• Rarity: 5-star
• Element: Lightning
• Path: Remembrance
• VA (JP): Aya Endo
Level 80 Stats:
• HP: 1242
• ATK: 699
• DEF: 485
• Speed: 102
Aglaea is a Lightning-based DPS unit whose damage potential revolves around her Memosprite, Garmentmaker. Maintaining Garmentmaker on the field is crucial, as it serves as the core of her damage output. Everything in her kit is designed to maximize its uptime, making it a top priority in her playstyle.
She scales primarily with Speed and ATK, meaning the more ATK she has, the stronger she becomes. However, one of her biggest drawbacks is her extremely high Energy cost—requiring 350 Energy to activate her Ultimate. Since a significant portion of her damage comes from her Ultimate, this makes her highly dependent on teammates who can provide Energy regeneration. Without the right support, she may struggle to perform at her full potential.
Aglaea’s best Light Cone choice is undoubtedly her signature weapon, Time Woven Into Gold. This Light Cone provides essential stats, including bonus Speed and CRIT DMG, allowing her to focus more on Energy Regeneration to offset her high Ultimate cost.
Unfortunately, Remembrance Light Cones are quite limited, meaning Aglaea doesn’t have a wide range of viable alternatives. However, there are still a few solid 3-star and 4-star options that can work as temporary substitutes until her signature Light Cone is acquired.
Top Light Cone Choices for Aglaea:
1. Time Woven Into Gold (Best-in-Slot) – Increases Aglaea’s base Speed by 12. After she or her Memosprite attacks, she gains a Brocade stack, which boosts CRIT DMG for both her and Garmentmaker by 9% per stack (up to 6 stacks). At max stacks, each Brocade stack also increases Basic ATK DMG by 9%, further enhancing her damage.
2. Sweat Now, Cry Less (Best Alternative Option) – Increases CRIT Rate by 12%. While Aglaea’s Memosprite is on the field, both she and Garmentmaker gain a 24% DMG boost, making it a strong F2P-friendly alternative.
3. Reminiscence (Best Budget Option) – At the start of Garmentmaker’s turn, both Aglaea and her Memosprite receive a Commemoration stack, which boosts DMG by 8% per stack (up to 4 stacks). However, all stacks disappear once Garmentmaker leaves the field, meaning this Light Cone is less consistent than the others.
While Time Woven Into Gold remains the best option, Sweat Now, Cry Less provides a strong CRIT-based alternative, and Reminiscence offers a budget-friendly choice until a stronger Light Cone becomes available.
To fully optimize Aglaea’s performance, her best Relic setup revolves around maximizing Speed, CRIT stats, and Energy Regeneration to compensate for her high Ultimate cost while enhancing her damage output alongside Garmentmaker. The Hero of Triumphant Song set is the ideal choice, as both Aglaea and Garmentmaker benefit from its bonuses, making it the most effective set for her.
For Planar Ornaments, The Wondrous BananAmusement Park is the best option, as it provides a significant CRIT DMG boost, further amplifying Aglaea’s burst potential.
Recommended Relic Sets:
Main Relic Set (4-piece Set)
• Hero of Triumphant Song (4-piece) – Provides stat bonuses that benefit both Aglaea and Garmentmaker, making it the strongest set for her kit.
Planar Ornament Set (2-piece Bonus)
• The Wondrous BananAmusement Park (2-piece) – Increases CRIT DMG, making it a perfect match for Aglaea’s offensive scaling.
Optimal Main Stats:
Main Relics:
• Body: CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG%
• Feet: Speed / ATK%
Substat Priority: SPD > CRIT DMG > ATK%
Planar Ornaments:
• Planar Sphere: Lightning DMG%
• Link Rope: Energy Regeneration%
Substat Priority: SPD > CRIT Rate > CRIT DMG > ATK%
By focusing on Speed and CRIT stats, this build ensures Aglaea maintains consistent uptime on her Memosprite while maximizing her burst potential.
To maximize Aglaea’s damage output, her Enhanced Basic Attacks and Ultimate should take top priority, as they contribute the most to her overall DPS potential. After that, Garmentmaker’s Skill and Talent should be leveled to ensure consistent damage uptime. Finally, Aglaea’s own Talent and Skill come last, as they have less impact on her total damage.
Optimal Skill Leveling Order:
1. Basic Attack – The primary source of Aglaea’s damage, making it the top priority.
2. Ultimate – Essential for burst damage, but requires high Energy investment, making its effectiveness dependent on Energy sustain.
3. Garmentmaker’s Skill – Increases Memosprite’s impact in combat, ensuring better uptime and damage output.
4. Garmentmaker’s Talent – Further enhances Garmentmaker’s presence and effectiveness, making it a mid-tier priority.
5. Talent – Offers additional benefits but has less influence on her direct damage output.
6. Skill – The least impactful part of her kit and should be upgraded only after everything else is maxed.
Major Trace Priority:
1. A2 – Provides the most valuable enhancements to Aglaea’s damage capabilities.
2. A4 – Strengthens her damage potential, making it the second priority.
3. A6 – The final priority, still useful but less impactful than A2 and A4.
This skill priority ensures Aglaea’s core damage sources are maximized first, allowing her to maintain peak performance in combat.
Aglaea is a powerful Lightning DPS who relies heavily on Garmentmaker to maximize her damage output. Building her correctly requires balancing Speed, CRIT stats, and Energy Regeneration, as her Ultimate has an exceptionally high Energy cost. Using the Hero of Triumphant Song relic set and The Wondrous BananAmusement Park as her Planar Ornaments helps optimize both her damage potential and sustain.
Her best Light Cone, Time Woven Into Gold, enhances her CRIT DMG and Speed, but Sweat Now, Cry Less provides a strong F2P-friendly alternative. When it comes to skill priority, her Basic Attack and Ultimate should be leveled first, followed by Garmentmaker’s abilities, ensuring her core damage rotation remains effective.
With the right build and team composition, Aglaea can be an exceptionally strong DPS, excelling in both single-target and AoE scenarios. Proper energy management and buffs from support units will allow her to maintain high damage uptime, making her a top-tier choice for Remembrance-based teams.
