FragPunk throws players into high-speed 5v5 battles with game-changing Shard Cards, powerful Lancers, and intense tactical action. But outside of the chaos on the battlefield, there’s a whole economy running behind the scenes—one that’s packed with different currencies used across stores, events, and unlockable content.
For new players, all the various currency types can feel a bit overwhelming at first. From unlocking cosmetics to buying Relics or other in-game items, each currency has its own purpose. But once you understand what each one does and how to earn them, navigating FragPunk’s system becomes a whole lot easier.
In this guide, we’ll break down every type of currency in FragPunk, what it’s used for, and how you can get more of it as you play.
Gold is the core currency in FragPunk and the first one players will start earning. It’s completely free to obtain and is mainly used to unlock new Lancers—each costing 18,888 Gold—as well as purchase Relics that give you passive bonuses during matches like Shard Clash.
The most consistent way to earn Gold is by simply playing the game. Whether you win or lose, completing matches rewards you with a steady amount. On top of that, you can stack up Gold through daily missions, event challenges, and other limited-time activities that pop up.
If you’re trying to save up quickly for a new Lancer or Relic, focus on completing daily tasks, hopping into events, and staying active in matches. It may take some time, but it’s fully grindable without spending a dime.
FragPunk Coins are the game’s premium currency and offer a faster way to unlock content compared to grinding with Gold. You can use them to instantly unlock Lancers—each priced at 488 Coins—as well as purchase premium cosmetics like Lancer skins, weapon skins, stickers, and Supply Packs in the in-game store.
These coins are bought with real money through the shop, and there are several bundle options depending on your budget:
• 95 Coins – $0.99
• 505 Coins – $4.99
• 1,015 Coins – $9.99
• 2,060 Coins – $19.99
• 3,675 Coins – $34.99
• 6,400 Coins – $59.99
• 10,800 Coins – $99.99
Currently, there are bonus coin rewards depending on how much you spend, giving you extra value with larger purchases. You can also earn 1,200 FragPunk Coins monthly through the Membership system—either $9.90 per month or $99.90 per year, with daily claimable bonuses.
Looking to save money? You can get FragPunk Coins at a discount—up to 30% off—on the 1v9 marketplace. It’s a great way to stock up on currency without paying full price.
Glunite Coins are another in-game currency players can earn in FragPunk, and they’re mostly used to unlock basic cosmetics. These include common skins for Lancers, weapon skins, banners, and headwear. If you’re looking to customize your characters without spending real money, Glunite Coins are your go-to.
You can spend Glunite Coins by selecting a Lancer and browsing through their available skins or banner options. For weapons, head over to the Arsenal tab under Weapons to find skins that can be purchased using this currency.
Earning Glunite Coins is simple—just play matches. But that’s not the only way. You can also pick up extra coins by completing Achievements. Just head to the Challenges tab in the lobby and check the Achievements section. Important note: rewards aren’t automatically added, so make sure to manually claim them once they’re completed.
If you’re subscribed to FragPunk’s Monthly or Annual Membership, you’ll also gain Glunite Coins passively through the Scavenger Imp, which can sometimes reward you with this currency instead of Gold.
On top of that, certain seasonal events and limited-time challenges—like the current Porcelain Hunting Challenge—also hand out Glunite Coins as you rank up and complete objectives.
While Glunite Coins may not buy the flashiest items in the store, they’re a solid way to collect cosmetics over time just by playing the game.
Weapon Skin Keys and Lancer Skin Keys are two specialty currencies in FragPunk that unlock extra style options for your cosmetics. Think of them as upgrade tokens—rather than unlocking new skins, they let you access Advanced Cosmetics for skins you already own, giving them alternate colors or visual tweaks.
Weapon Skin Keys are used to customize select weapon skins with new looks. To use them, head to the Arsenal tab, pick your weapon, select Weapon Appearance, and then go into Advanced Cosmetics to see which styles you can unlock.
Lancer Skin Keys work exactly the same way, but for your characters. Go to the Lancers tab in the Arsenal, choose the Lancer you want to customize, hit the Skin section, and look for Advanced Cosmetics. Just note: only certain skins—usually Rare or higher—support these alternate styles.
To get your hands on these keys, you’ll want to visit the Redeem section of the in-game Store. You can buy them using Battle Pass Tokens (from leveling up your pass) or Club Supplies (from Ranked rewards). You can also earn them by trading Porcelain Shards through the Porcelain Exchange, which is part of special in-game events like the Porcelain Hunting Challenge.
If you’re big on customization and want to make your weapons and Lancers stand out, these keys are worth collecting.
Membership Picks are a special premium currency tied exclusively to FragPunk’s Monthly and Annual Memberships. These are used to unlock exclusive cosmetic items that aren’t available through regular gameplay or other currencies.
You can redeem Membership Picks in the Redeem section of the in-game store, specifically under the Membership tab. This section features a rotating selection of exclusive Lancer and weapon skins that can only be unlocked using this currency.
Monthly Members receive 10 Membership Picks every 30 days, while Annual Members not only get the same monthly benefit but also score a bonus 50 Membership Picks instantly when they start their subscription. If you’re looking to collect rare, premium cosmetics that stand out from the rest, Membership Picks are your gateway to that VIP flair.
Ultimate Material is one of the most valuable and rare currencies in FragPunk, mainly used for unlocking exclusive rewards from the Ultimate Skin Prize Pools. These limited-time prize pools feature some of the game’s most premium cosmetics, making Ultimate Material highly sought after.
During Season 1, you can use Ultimate Material to claim items from the Consolation Prize Pool by visiting the Lucky Prize Pool section under the Featured tab in the Store. Once there, simply hit the Redeem button to view and select available rewards.
This currency is tied to the Curiosity Can system, where it’s either awarded directly or earned through duplicate draws. Since Ultimate Material is hard to come by, it’s best saved for rare cosmetics that can’t be picked up any other way. If you’re aiming to build out a collection of the game’s most exclusive skins, this is the currency to keep an eye on.
Battle Pass Tokens in FragPunk work a little differently compared to what you might expect from other games. Instead of unlocking rewards directly through the Battle Pass track, these tokens are used as a separate currency to purchase items in the Redeem section of the Store, under the Battle Pass tab.
As you level up the current Battle Pass, you’ll earn Battle Pass Tokens along the way. Once you hit the max level, every level you gain beyond that continues to reward you with 100 Battle Pass Tokens, regardless of whether you’ve bought the premium Battle Pass or not.
You can then spend your tokens on a rotating selection of cosmetics, materials, and other useful items. This system gives you more control over what rewards you want, letting you save up and grab the ones that matter most to you.
Club Supplies are an often overlooked currency in FragPunk, but they offer some solid rewards if you’re part of a Club. To start earning them, you’ll need to either join an existing Club or create your own through the Club tab on the main menu.
Once you’re in a Club, you’ll unlock access to special Club Daily and Weekly Challenges. Completing these challenges will earn you Club Supplies, which you can then use in the Redeem section of the Store under the Club tab.
This currency can be spent on a variety of useful items, including Decoration Packs, Curiosity Pop Cans, Weapon Skin Keys, and more. If you’re someone who enjoys completing challenges with friends or an active group, Club Supplies are a nice bonus that lets you pick up extra rewards just for staying engaged.
FragPunk features a wide variety of currencies, each with its own purpose and use—from unlocking Lancers and cosmetics to grabbing exclusive event rewards or premium skins. While it might feel overwhelming at first, understanding what each currency does makes navigating the game’s systems much easier. Whether you’re grinding Gold, saving Glunite Coins, spending FragPunk Coins, or collecting rare materials like Ultimate Material or Membership Picks, each currency gives you more ways to customize your experience. The more you play, the more valuable each one becomes—so keep earning, exploring, and building your perfect loadout.
