Brand support doesn’t protect you. He doesn’t heal you or shield you when things get scary. What he does is set the entire enemy bot lane on fire and watch their health bars disappear.
The problem? Not every ADC gets how to play with him. Some want to farm safely. Others need constant peel. Pair Brand with those players and you’ll lose lane before ten minutes.
The ADCs who work with Brand are the aggressive ones. Players who follow up when you land a stun instead of backing off to hit minions. They don’t tilt when your passive takes a kill. They just ping for the next fight.
We made this list based on kill pressure, lane synergy, and how well each ADC survives without traditional support protection. If you’re tired of duo queue coin flips, grab someone from this list and start climbing in League of Legends.

Alistar brings the crowd control that Brand needs to land his full combo. When Alistar goes in with his Headbutt into Pulverize combo, enemies are knocked up and helpless. That’s a free stun and full passive stack for Brand every single time.
The kill pressure at level 2 is insane. Most bot lanes don’t expect this much burst damage so early. Alistar engages, Brand follows up, and suddenly someone is walking back to lane from fountain.
The only downside is that both of you lack sustain. If you don’t win fights you’ll get poked out eventually. But when this lane gets rolling it snowballs hard and fast.

Lux and Brand together is just unfair poke damage. Both of you can chunk enemies from range without ever putting yourselves in danger. If Lux lands her Q snare, Brand gets a guaranteed stun combo. If Brand lands his stun, Lux gets a free full combo.
The burst at level 6 is disgusting. Two ultimates hitting at the same time will delete any squishy bot lane before they can react.
The problem with this duo is that nobody peels for anyone. If an engage support or jungler gets on top of you, both of you are probably dead. But if you play spacing correctly and land your skillshots, the enemy bot lane won’t have any fun.

Double artillery mage bot lane. You and Vel’Koz just stand back and rain abilities until the enemy team is too low to stay in lane. Both champions shred through health with their passive damage so even tanks suffer against this combo.
Landing CC from either side sets up the other perfectly. Vel’Koz knockup means free Brand stun. Brand stun means free Vel’Koz combo. The chain CC is brutal when you coordinate properly.
Same weakness as Lux though. Zero peel and zero survivability. One good gank and you’re both dead. Play safe when you don’t have vision and punish hard when you do.

Seraphine actually covers some of Brand’s weaknesses. She brings healing, shielding, and poke all in one kit. That’s rare for a duo that still deals this much damage together.
Her E root sets up Brand’s stun perfectly. When she hits level 6 her ultimate can charm entire teams, letting Brand stack his passive on everyone at once. Teamfights become absolute chaos in your favor.
The lane phase is a bit slower than other duos on this list. You won’t have crazy level 2 all in potential. But you scale better and don’t automatically lose if the jungler shows up.

Two plant mages turning bot lane into a death zone. Zyra’s plants plus Brand’s fire means the enemy ADC can’t walk up for CS without losing half their health. The zone control from this duo is suffocating.
Zyra’s root sets up Brand’s stun easily. When both ultimates go off in a teamfight the damage is absurd. Everything burns and everything gets knocked up at the same time.
You have the same squishiness problem as other mage duos. But the difference is that Zyra’s plants block skillshots and her ultimate provides disengage. Slightly safer than running double burst with no utility.

Braum fixes Brand’s biggest problem. He actually protects his ADC. His shield blocks incoming damage and his passive adds even more crowd control to an already CC heavy lane.
The combo is simple. Braum applies his passive stacks, Brand follows up with abilities while the enemy is stunned. Or Brand lands his stun first and Braum walks up to stack his passive for another stun immediately after.
You get tankiness, peel, and kill pressure all at once. Braum can also save Brand when things go wrong, which doesn’t happen with most duos on this list. Solid pick if you want aggression without being completely vulnerable.

Morgana’s Q is a three second root at max rank. Three seconds. That’s more than enough time for Brand to land his entire combo twice if he wants to.
But the real value is her Black Shield. It blocks all crowd control, which means Brand can play aggressive without worrying about getting locked down during fights. That safety net changes everything for a squishy mage who usually dies the moment someone touches him.
Both ultimates together in a teamfight is just cruel. Morgana keeps everyone in place while Brand burns them all down. The enemy team has to choose between getting stunned by Morgana or spreading out and losing the fight anyway.

Thresh hook into Brand stun is a death sentence. The enemy has no time to react before they’re chunked for most of their health bar. And if Thresh lands a hook at level 2, that’s almost always first blood.
What makes Thresh special is his versatility. He can engage with hook, peel with flay, and save Brand with lantern when things go wrong. Most supports on this list do one thing well. Thresh does everything.
The lantern alone makes this duo worth playing. Brand can position aggressively knowing Thresh can pull him out of danger. That safety lets you play up and land more abilities without constantly risking death.

Leona locks someone down and Brand melts them. That’s the entire game plan and it works almost every single time.
When Leona hits level 2 and lands her E, that person is stunned for what feels like forever between her Q and Brand’s passive stun. Most ADCs just die right there. No outplay potential. No escape. Just death.
Her ultimate makes teamfights even easier. She stuns multiple people and Brand drops his ult on all of them. The combo spreads through the enemy team like wildfire and suddenly everyone is burning.
Leona also tanks everything, which means Brand stays alive longer to keep dealing damage. Aggressive, tanky, and loaded with CC. Hard to ask for more in a duo partner.

Nautilus has more crowd control than any other support in the game. His hook, passive root, and ultimate are all point and click or impossible to miss. When Nautilus decides someone dies, they die.
Brand just has to follow up. Nautilus hooks a target and roots them with his passive. Brand lands his stun while they’re still locked down. By the time the CC chain ends that person has already lost most of their health from Brand’s passive alone.
The level 2 all in is terrifying. Nautilus hits one hook and the enemy ADC has to burn flash or die. If they don’t have flash, they just die. No skill expression required from the enemy. They simply lose.
This duo dominates lane and scales into teamfights where Nautilus can lock down priority targets for Brand to burn. Tanky, reliable, and disgusting amounts of CC. The best partner Brand could ask for.
Brand needs a duo partner who understands his playstyle. He’s not going to protect anyone. He’s going to deal damage and burn everything in sight.
The supports on this list all bring something Brand lacks. Engage, peel, extra CC, or just more damage to stack on top of his already insane burst. Pick based on what you need. Want safety? Go Braum or Thresh. Want pure aggression? Nautilus or Leona will deliver.
Stop coin flipping League of Legends solo queue with random supports who don’t get how Brand works. Grab a duo from this list and watch your bot lane become a nightmare for the enemy team.
