Use a DPI that keeps Windows and menus comfortable—800 or 1600 are common starting points—then adjust in-game sensitivity to preserve the same effective turn distance. A 1,000Hz polling rate is already responsive; 4,000–8,000Hz can improve sample spacing on very high-refresh displays but consumes more battery and CPU time.
