Where to Find the Vulcano Blueprint in ARC Raiders

Where to Find the Vulcano Blueprint in ARC Raiders

AI Summary

The Vulcano Blueprint currently drops during two ARC Raiders map conditions: Hidden Bunker and Hurricane. In Hidden Bunker, it can appear in loot across Spaceport—you do not have to open the bunker. During Hurricane, search First Wave Caches. Both methods are random, and no POI, cabinet or cache guarantees the blueprint.

Last verified: August 26, 2026

The current blueprint table lists Vulcano as condition-only for Hidden Bunker and Hurricane. Embark reduced rare-blueprint drops from Hurricane caches in Patch 1.18.0, so old “several blueprints every run” claims are no longer dependable.

Vulcano Blueprint methods at a glance

ConditionWhere to searchBest useMain limitation
Hidden BunkerContainers anywhere on Spaceport while the condition is activeFast high-density building routeRandom drop; high competition
HurricaneFirst Wave Caches exposed by the conditionTargeted cache circuit on a familiar mapCache spawns vary; rare-blueprint rate was reduced

Queue only when one of those conditions is shown in the live map rotation. A normal Spaceport raid is not the same as Hidden Bunker. The official ARC Raiders map-condition page is safer than a static schedule because times depend on date and region.

Method 1: farm Spaceport during Hidden Bunker

Hidden Bunker is a Spaceport-exclusive condition. The important correction is that the Vulcano Blueprint is not confined to the underground bunker: the current blueprint record lists it as available anywhere on the map while this condition is active.

  1. Choose Hidden Bunker on Spaceport. Verify the condition name before matchmaking.
  2. Route from your spawn. Arrival Building, Launch Towers and other container-dense interiors are practical—not guaranteed—stops.
  3. Open containers, not just floor loot. Prioritize rooms that let you search several drawers, lockers, cabinets and Raider containers without crossing exposed ground.
  4. Rotate instead of camping. Once a room has been searched, move to the next dense cluster or prepare to extract.

Arrival Building remains a sensible route when you spawn nearby, but there is no published evidence that its right-hand office or a particular rusted drawer has a special Vulcano chance. The old article overstated that claim.

Do you need to open the bunker?

No. Opening it creates another dense loot area, but it also broadcasts a major contest point. If your goal is the blueprint, sweeping quieter Spaceport buildings can be more efficient. To open the bunker legitimately, Raiders across the session must complete the four rooftop antenna downloads; do not use geometry exploits.

Method 2: search First Wave Caches during Hurricane

Hurricane exposes First Wave Caches at possible cache locations. The Vulcano Blueprint can roll from these condition-specific containers. Cache positions are not guaranteed on every pin, so choose a compact circuit on a map you already know and listen for the caches rather than crossing the entire raid for one marker.

Patch 1.18.0 lowered rare-blueprint drops slightly and increased high-tier material drops. First Wave Caches are still legitimate blueprint sources, but a guide that promises three to five blueprints every session is using pre-nerf expectations.

  • Bring a low-cost kit you can afford to lose, not an empty exploit-oriented loadout.
  • Check several nearby possible cache positions, then reassess the Storm, exits and gunfire.
  • Do not confuse ordinary Raider Cache markers with First Wave Caches required for the Hurricane method.
  • If another squad controls a cache route, disengage rather than gambling the whole run on one roll.

Extract the blueprint before doing anything else

Picking up a blueprint does not permanently unlock the recipe. You must survive the raid, return to Speranza and learn it. Put it in a secure pocket only when your current augment and the blueprint’s item rules allow that protection; Embark has patched unintended safe-pocket interactions before.

After the drop, choose the shortest defensible exit. Avoid optional fights, keep stamina for the final approach and do not open another high-traffic room simply because the backpack has space. The Seeker Grenade Blueprint route uses the same extraction-first principle on Stella Montis.

Vulcano crafting recipe

After learning the blueprint, craft Vulcano I at a Gunsmith level 3 with:

  • 1 Magnetic Accelerator
  • 3 Heavy Gun Parts
  • 1 Exodus Module

That level requirement makes workshop progress part of the unlock. Check the ARC Raiders workshop-upgrade guide before burning scarce materials on another station.

Is the Vulcano worth farming?

It is useful if you want a six-round semi-automatic shotgun for aggressive indoor fights. Its sharp damage falloff and weak ARC armor penetration make it a poor universal PvE weapon. Pair it with a ranged option and avoid treating it as an answer to every machine.

The current ARC Raiders weapon comparison places its close-range strengths in context. The limitation is honest: if you mainly fight armored ARC at distance, the materials and blueprint grind may deliver less value than another weapon.

Vulcano Blueprint FAQ

Is it spelled Vulcano or Volcano?

The in-game weapon is spelled Vulcano.

Can the blueprint drop in a normal raid?

The current blueprint table labels it condition-only: Hidden Bunker or Hurricane. Do not plan around an ordinary map rotation unless a later patch changes that record.

Is Arrival Building guaranteed?

No. It is simply a dense Spaceport route during Hidden Bunker. The individual container roll remains random.

Sources and update policy

Conditions and source types were checked against the ARC Raiders Wiki blueprint table last updated July 21, 2026. Hurricane changes were verified against Embark’s official Patch 1.18.0 notes, and the crafting recipe against the current Vulcano item record. Route recommendations are editorial and never presented as guaranteed drops.
