Finding Power Cables in Arc Raiders can be annoying if you don’t know where they spawn, but once you understand where these components usually show up, stocking up becomes much easier. Power Cables count as Industrial loot, so your best bet is exploring factories, abandoned work sites, utility buildings, garages, and any POI with machinery or electrical equipment scattered around. These areas usually have metal shelves, toolboxes, and storage crates that can drop Power Cables fairly often. Some of the most reliable spots tend to be industrial zones around Buried City and Stella Montis, since those regions pack several buildings loaded with crafting materials. Make sure you loot every corner — lockers, cabinets, and worktables almost always hide at least one useful part. If you’re upgrading your Gear Bench from Level 2 to 3, grab every Power Cable you find, because they’re not craftable and you can burn through them quickly once you start pushing higher-tier Arc Raiders gear.

Power Cables are much easier to track down once you know where they actually spawn. They’re almost always found inside or near lootable computers, so any location packed with desks, terminals, and office rooms is worth checking. The best farming spots for Power Cables include:
• Departure Building & Arrival Building – Spaceport
• Space Travel – Buried City
• Research & Administration – Dam Battlegrounds
Out of all these, Spaceport stands out as the most consistent place to farm. Both the Arrival and Departure buildings have multiple floors stacked with computer rooms, and nearly every hallway leads to containers that can drop Power Cables. The loot density here is excellent, making it one of the safest bets for quick farming runs.
If you’re already roaming Buried City, Space Travel is another strong option. Most of this building is filled with offices, terminals, and searchable desks, giving you tons of chances to pull Power Cables. Just keep in mind that it’s a bit more dangerous than Spaceport, but still very rewarding if you move carefully.
The Research & Administration building in Dam Battlegrounds is also a high-value location, but it comes with serious risk. This spot is infamous for PvP—squads constantly push through because of the high-tier loot and its proximity to the Control Tower. Expect heavy resistance here, both from players and ARC.
Power Cables cannot be bought, crafted, or recycled, so the only way to get them is by looting. Since you need three of them to upgrade your Gear Bench, avoid running these routes with a Free Kit—you’ll want a Safe Pocket so you don’t lose your progress if things go bad.
Power Cables might not seem rare at first, but knowing exactly where to look makes a huge difference in Arc Raiders. Locations packed with computers—like Spaceport, Buried City’s Space Travel area, and the Research & Administration building—consistently offer the best chances of finding them. Since you can’t buy or craft Power Cables, every run matters, and going in with a safe setup ensures you keep whatever you loot. If you focus your search in the right places and stay alert for other players, gathering the Power Cables you need for your Gear Bench upgrade becomes much more manageable.
