Microscopes are random loot associated with laboratory, research and medical environments. Medical Research on Stella Montis is the clearest starting point: search cabinets, drawers, carts, desks and loose surfaces on both levels. Assembly and adjacent research rooms can be secondary checks, but no room, desk or container guarantees a Microscope.

The result changes with loot rotation, other Raiders and hotfixes. A cleared room may simply have been looted before you arrived. Treat community route reports as probability guidance, not a fixed spawn marker.

A safer microscope route

1. Enter with a budget loadout and reserve a protected slot for the item if it is eligible.
2. Check the closest Medical Research entrance rather than crossing the central lobby in the open.
