Locked Gate is a special map-wide event that can trigger on the Blue Gate location in ARC Raiders. When it’s active, enormous security doors slam shut across the map, sealing off outer zones and cutting access to underground routes that are usually open during normal runs. This completely shifts how the match plays out and forces every squad into the same objective path.
Instead of looting freely, players must hunt down four separate security keys hidden across key points on the map and bring them back to the Gate Control Room. Since everyone in the lobby is chasing the same codes, the event naturally creates high-pressure encounters, ambushes, and last-second steals between teams.
This guide breaks down everything you need to know about the Locked Gate event in ARC Raiders, including where to find every key, how the event works, and what to keep in mind before committing to it so you don’t get caught off guard.

Reinforced Reception is one of the most reliable places to find the first Locked Gate key. Once you spot this location on the map, head inside the building and move toward the elevator area. Just to the right of the elevator doors, there’s a trash bin — that’s where the key spawns. It’s positioned right near the entrance, so you don’t need to search the entire room, making this one of the fastest and safest key pickups if you get there early.
At Ancient Fort, the Locked Gate key is tucked inside one of the breakable storage containers near the power cell station. When you reach the area with the electrical box used to slot in power cells, look for the two containers positioned beside it. The key consistently spawns in the container on the right, so focus on breaking that one first to save time and avoid unnecessary noise.
At Raider’s Refuge, finding the Locked Gate key is quick and uncomplicated. Head inside the main structure using any available entrance and search for the vehicle storage container. Once you breach it, the key will be waiting inside. This location is one of the easier spots, making it a good option to check early if the event is active.
At Pilgrim’s Peak, the Locked Gate key is hidden on an upper level. Enter the building and locate the zipline inside, then ride it up to the second floor. Once you’re up there, look for the red storage containers. Break into them and check inside, as the key will be found in one of those containers.
After collecting all four security codes, make your way to the Gate Control Room to finish the event. Inside the room, you’ll see four separate terminals. Each code is tied to one specific terminal, so you can’t insert them randomly. Approach the computers one by one, match each code to its correct machine, and slot them in. Once all four terminals are activated with the correct codes, the Locked Gate event is successfully completed.
Here are some smart ways to make the Locked Gate event easier and faster. First, remember that security keys carry over between raids, so there’s no pressure to grab all four in one run. Picking up a single key and extracting safely is often the better play, then finishing the rest across later matches with less risk. If you’re loading in specifically to hunt a key, always check where you spawn. Landing far away from the location you need usually isn’t worth the time, so backing out and queuing again can be much more efficient than running across the entire map. Finally, Locked Gate tends to favor solo players. Most players focus on the shared objective and are more willing to cooperate compared to normal raids. Squads can still complete it, but they often attract more PvP attention, which can slow things down and increase the chance of losing progress.
All Locked Gate Key Locations in ARC Raiders can feel overwhelming at first, but once you understand where each key spawns and how the event works, it becomes a much more manageable and rewarding challenge. By learning the key locations, using the fact that keys persist between raids, and approaching the event with patience rather than rushing everything in one run, you can complete Locked Gate efficiently without unnecessary risk. Whether you’re playing solo or with a squad, preparation and map knowledge make all the difference, turning the Locked Gate event from a frustrating obstacle into a clear, repeatable objective you can plan around and complete with confidence.
