Get ready to sell accounts on 1v9 by adhering to the specific rules for the account category. Failing to comply can lead to your seller account being temporarily or permanently suspended.
Additional Reading:
Make sure to also review the general Seller Rules applicable across all categories on 1v9.
Account Section General Rules:
• Full Access Requirement: Selling accounts that do not provide full access or are shared is prohibited. You must ensure full access is granted to the buyer to prevent accounts from being recovered. This includes giving access to the associated email and any other pertinent login information.
• Tradeshield Protection: Accounts come with a 5-day Tradeshield protection period. If an account is disabled, banned, or reclaimed during this time, the transaction will be voided, and a refund issued.
• Liability After Protection: Post-protection, sellers remain responsible. If an account you sold is reclaimed after the 5-day period, 1v9 will conduct an investigation. Should the investigation find you at fault, you may be required to issue a refund to the buyer and face possible suspension. To prevent suspension, maintain communication with buyers even after the protection period.
• High Recovery Rate Penalties: Sellers with a high incidence of account recoveries will be permanently banned from 1v9.
• Seller Accountability: You are fully accountable for the accounts you sell. Reselling is permissible, but you bear responsibility for any subsequent issues.
• Disclosure of Limitations: It’s imperative to inform buyers about any limitations of the account explicitly. For instance, if a game account is restricted to in-game purchases in a specific region (e.g., an Argentina Steam account), this must be detailed in the description.
• Prohibition on Account Usage Post-Sale: Once an account is sold, the seller is prohibited from attempting to log in, recover, or use the account or any associated logins, unless the buyer requests such actions.
• Dispute Settlements: If a dispute resolves in the buyer’s favor, sellers are permitted to recover and secure the account if feasible.
• Prohibition on Illicit Accounts: Selling accounts that are hacked, stolen, or otherwise obtained illegally is strictly forbidden.
• Accuracy in Instant Delivery: For instant delivery accounts, precise and correct account details must be provided in the offer. Repeatedly providing incorrect details can lead to suspension.
• Misleading Descriptions Forbidden: Sellers must not create misleading product descriptions or titles that could deceive buyers into making a purchase. For example, stating “Lifetime warranty for accounts” or claiming full access when it is not the case.
• Limit on Duplicate Listings: Sellers are allowed to post up to 5 duplicate listings of one offer. This does not apply to unique account offers and offers requiring delivery longer than 5 minutes, which can only be listed once. To add more accounts under one offer, use the “add additional account” feature when customizing your listing.
• Keyword Duplication Prohibited: Using duplicate keywords in offer titles is banned. For example: “Fortnite account/100 skins/GALAXY/GALAXY/GALAXY/GALAXY/GALAXY” should be avoided.
• Requirement for Informative Listings: Listings must be detailed and provide valuable information. Posting listings that lack useful information or are generally uninformative is prohibited. This rule applies to both offer titles and descriptions.
Fortnite:
• Platform Compatibility: Clearly indicate the platforms the Fortnite account can be linked with (e.g., Xbox + PlayStation, PC + PlayStation). This guarantees that the account will function on the specified platforms.
• Risk Disclosure: Inform buyers of any potential risks, such as advising against contacting Epic Games support to prevent disputes. This information must be clearly stated to avoid liability.
• Email Accessibility: If the account’s email cannot be immediately changed, this must be specified in the listing. Ensure full access to the linked email is provided.
• Russian Email Domains: Be cautious when selling accounts with Russian email domains due to a higher risk of order cancellations.
Valorant:
• Correct Category Listing: Accounts must be listed under the appropriate category corresponding to their rank (e.g., Iron accounts in the Iron category).
• Current Season Rank: Ensure the rank listed is from the current season.
• No Cheats: Accounts leveled using cheats or illegal software are strictly prohibited to protect buyers from bans.
• Duplicated Offers: When uploading multiple Valorant accounts, organize them by rank categories: Iron, Bronze, Silver, etc. Up to 5 offers per rank are permissible.
GTA 5:
• Platform Specification: State clearly which platform the account is for (e.g., Epic Games, Rockstar, PS5).
• Game Version: Specify whether the account includes the Expanded and Enhanced or Regular version.
• FiveM Accounts: Clearly inform buyers that GTA V is necessary to utilize FiveM accounts.
• Asset Listing: When listing GTA 5 accounts based on total assets, differentiate them by at least $50 million to comply with the duplication rules.
OSRS and RS3:
• Recovery Information: Provide all necessary account recovery information to the buyer, including recovery questions, original email, and previous passwords.
• Disclosure of Risks: Inform buyers of any potential risks associated with the account, such as previous bans or botting activities.
Call of Duty:
• Game Version Clarification: Clearly state which version of Call of Duty the account pertains to.
• Platform Linking: Indicate which platforms the account can be linked to.
• Login Access: Remove unnecessary login methods and provide full access to any linked methods at the time of sale.
League of Legends:
• Rank Accuracy: List accounts in the correct rank category, ensuring the rank is from the current season.
• Account Status: Disclose any offenses associated with the account.
• Username Restrictions: Do not sell accounts with offensive or inappropriate usernames; such listings will be cancelled.
• Smurf Account Listings: When offering smurf accounts, categorize them by blue essence ranges: 20-40K BE, 41-60K BE, etc., with up to 5 offers permissible within each range.
These revised guidelines help ensure clarity and compliance, enhancing the selling experience on 1v9 while safeguarding both sellers and buyers.
