Rocket League Season 23 is the current competitive season as of August 27, 2026. It began on June 10, 2026, at 9:00 AM PT. Psyonix has not published an end date on the official Season 23 announcement, so this page does not guess one. The tables below separate the original 2015–2020 competitive sequence from the free-to-play numbering that restarted in September 2020.

When does the current Rocket League season end?

Season 23 started June 10, 2026. The June 5 announcement and June 9 patch notes confirm the start, but do not provide a final date. Treat any unreferenced September date as an estimate until Psyonix publishes Season 24 timing. The in-game countdown can become the most immediate source once it appears.

What changes at a new season?

• Competitive playlists receive a soft rank reset rather than deleting all matchmaking history.
• New placement or calibration matches update the visible rank.
• Unspent Tournament Credits convert according to Psyonix's stated rules for that transition.
• A new Rocket Pass and seasonal Challenges begin.
• The previous season's eligible Competitive rewards are delivered after the new season starts.

Do season rewards expire?

The requirement must be earned during the active season. Once Psyonix grants an eligible reward, it normally remains in the inventory. A Rocket Pass tier or unfinished Challenge does not carry forward just because the item would have been permanent.
