How to use a Roblox music ID
- Join an experience that supports custom audio.
- Equip or open its radio, boombox, DJ table, or music panel.
- Copy the numeric asset ID only—do not include quotation marks.
- Paste it into the audio field and choose Play.
- Keep volume reasonable and follow the experience’s rules.
Why a Roblox music code may not play
- The experience blocks third-party audio. Developers control which assets can play.
- The asset became private. Roblox audio permissions can change after a list is published.
- The upload was moderated. Copyrighted or policy-breaking audio may disappear.
- The game requires a pass. Some radios are paid or restricted to certain roles.
- The ID is not audio. A decal, model, or catalog item ID will not play as a song.
How to find a safe audio ID
Search the Roblox Creator Store audio library and open the asset you want. The numeric value in its asset URL is the ID. Favor uploads from Roblox or creators who clearly have permission to publish the track.
Avoid “bypassed audio” lists. Those uploads are designed to evade moderation, can be removed quickly, and may expose other players to content that violates an experience’s rules.
