Overwatch 2’s Stadium mode has quickly become one of the most popular additions to the game, giving players a fresh way to experiment with heroes through unique builds, powers, and items. Each new Competitive Season brings balance updates, hero changes, and new ways to customize your favorite characters. With so many combinations available, it’s no surprise that Blizzard added a convenient feature in Season 17 — the ability to save, import, and share custom hero builds. This system lets players store their best setups, test different loadouts, and even share powerful builds with friends or teammates in just a few clicks. In this guide, we’ll explain exactly how to save and share your Overwatch Stadium builds so you can master your heroes and make every round count.

The easiest way to import or export hero builds in Overwatch 2 Stadium mode is through the Stadium Practice Range. From the main menu, head to Training → Practice Range → Stadium Practice Range. Once you’re there, pick your desired hero and open the build menu — it should appear automatically, but if not, press B to bring it up manually. Inside the build menu, you’ll find preset example builds as well as the option to create your own by combining different Powers and Items. You can test these combinations in the range to fine-tune your setup before taking it into a match.
At the bottom of the menu, click the gear icon to access import and export options. You’ll see three icons: one to create a new build, one with a downward arrow (for importing builds), and one with an upward arrow (for exporting builds). To import a build, simply click the downward arrow, paste a build code shared by another player, and confirm — your hero’s setup will automatically update to match that build. To export, make sure your build is ready, then click the upward arrow to generate a unique code you can share with friends or teammates. They’ll be able to paste it into their own menu to instantly copy your progression.
This system makes it easy to share creative loadouts, experiment with meta strategies, or keep your favorite builds ready for future matches — helping you stay one step ahead in every Stadium season.
The new import and export system in Overwatch 2 Stadium mode makes experimenting with hero builds easier and more enjoyable than ever. Whether you’re testing unique Power and Item combinations in the Practice Range or sharing your perfected setup with friends, this feature allows players to save time and focus on improving their gameplay. With each new season introducing fresh heroes and balance changes, being able to quickly save, share, and adapt builds gives you a major advantage. Master this system now, and you’ll always be ready to dominate the next Stadium rotation.
