The Pitcher Plant is one of the newest additions to Grow a Garden as part of the Mega Summer update, now available for purchase directly from the Seed Shop. While its distinct design might catch your eye, its average sell value leaves some players underwhelmed. Still, if you’re interested in expanding your garden with something fresh or just want to test out every plant in the game, this guide covers how to get the Pitcher Plant seed, its value, traits, and whether it’s truly worth growing.
The Pitcher Plant is a Divine-tier seed in Grow a Garden that costs 7,500,000 Sheckles and can be bought from the Seed Shop. Since it’s a multi-harvest crop like Loquat or Feijoa, it’s extremely rare—only appearing in stock about 1% of the time with the shop refreshing every 5 minutes. To buy it, click the “Seeds” button at the top of your screen to jump to the shop instantly. Because of the high cost, the fastest way to afford it is by selling high-mutation fruits or trading pets for rare crops. If you want to skip the grind, the Pitcher Plant seed can also be purchased for 715 Robux. For better chances, join Grow a Garden’s Discord or stock tracking servers to get alerts when the shop refreshes. Alternatively, if someone else in your server has one, pets like Red Fox or Raccoon have a small chance to steal a Pitcher Plant from another player’s garden.
The Pitcher Plant in Grow a Garden might look impressive as a Divine seed, but its actual value is disappointing. It costs a steep 7.5 million Sheckles to purchase, yet its average crop sell value is only around 30,000 Sheckles. Even though it’s a multi-harvest plant, it only produces one crop at a time, making it one of the least efficient Divine seeds you can buy. Unless you’re lucky enough to get strong mutations on it, the return on investment just doesn’t add up. You’re better off spending your resources on other seeds that offer better yield and consistency.
The Pitcher Plant may seem like an exciting addition in Grow a Garden due to its Divine rarity and unique design, but it’s not the most rewarding choice for most players. With a high purchase cost, low stock rate, and underwhelming sell value, it’s better suited for collectors or those aiming to complete their garden rather than players looking for profit. If you’re short on Sheckles or want better returns, there are far more efficient seeds to invest in.
