What happened to the Version 7.0 livestream codes?
HoYoverse released three 7.0 special-program codes on July 31. Like previous livestream rewards, they were designed to expire quickly—typically within 12–24 hours. They should not be listed as working two weeks later merely because an old article still displays them.
The permanent-looking alphanumeric codes in the active table follow a different schedule and can remain available for weeks or months. HoYoverse can still retire them without advance notice.
How to redeem Genshin Impact codes
- Reach Adventure Rank 10 and link your game account to a HoYoverse account.
- Open the official Genshin Impact gift page and sign in.
- Select your server and confirm the character nickname shown by the page.
- Paste one redemption code and press Redeem.
- Open Genshin Impact and collect the reward from Mail before the message expires.
- On supported platforms, you can instead use Settings → Account → Redeem Code in the game.
Why is my Genshin code not working?
- Adventure Rank is below 10. Progress the account before redeeming.
- The server is wrong. A nickname mismatch is a warning that you selected another region.
- The code expired. Livestream rewards disappear especially fast.
- You already claimed it. Each code is one use per HoYoverse account.
- The account is not linked. Console players may need to connect a HoYoverse account first.
- A character has not been created on that server. Enter the game once before using the web page.
Reliable ways to earn more free Primogems
- Complete four Daily Commissions and claim the extra reward from the Adventurers’ Guild.
- Finish limited-time events before their shop and quest timers end.
- Clear Spiral Abyss or the current endgame mode to the level your account supports.
- Open waypoints, chests, achievements, and exploration objectives in new regions.
- Claim maintenance compensation and official event mail.
- Use livestream codes on the day of the special program rather than waiting for the patch.
