Fortnite and Rocket League have teamed up once again, this time bringing the legendary Batmobile into the mix. After months of leaks and speculation, the Dark Knight’s ride is finally drivable in Fortnite, giving players a chance to cruise around the island in Gotham’s most famous vehicle. In this article, we’ll cover which version of the Batmobile has arrived, how you can unlock it for your locker, and even explain how some Rocket League veterans may be able to claim it at no cost.

The Batmobile officially arrives in the Fortnite Item Shop on September 18 at 8 PM ET, priced at 2,500 V-Bucks. The bundle includes four decals, a custom boost, and a unique set of wheels, all tied to the two-seater sports car model. While the price is steep, longtime Rocket League players might not need to spend anything at all. Thanks to Epic’s cross-game system, anyone who previously purchased the Batmobile in Rocket League and linked their Epic Games accounts will automatically see the vehicle unlocked in Fortnite. This makes it a huge win for veterans, especially since the Batmobile (1989) only cost 1,100 Credits in Rocket League (roughly $9.99), compared to the Fortnite price of around $22.99.
Right now, the only Batmobile available in Fortnite is the classic 1989 version, inspired by Tim Burton’s Batman with Michael Keaton behind the wheel. While Rocket League features multiple versions of the Batmobile, including The Dark Knight’s Tumbler, the 2016 Batmobile from Batman v Superman, and the 2022 version from The Batman, none of these have made their way into Fortnite yet. For now, players will have to settle for the iconic ’89 model, though given Epic’s history of collaborations, it’s possible more Batmobiles could arrive in the future.
The arrival of the Batmobile in Fortnite is one of the most exciting crossovers the game has seen, giving fans of both Fortnite and Batman the chance to cruise the island in style. Whether you’re purchasing it directly from the Item Shop or unlocking it for free through your Rocket League connection, the ’89 Batmobile is a must-have for collectors and superhero fans alike. While it’s currently the only Batmobile available, the potential for other versions to join in the future keeps the door open for even more epic collaborations. For now, this iconic vehicle is your ticket to standing out on the battlefield in true Dark Knight fashion.
