How the Override Battle Pass works

You gain levels with XP earned in eligible Fortnite experiences. Reaching a page's level gate makes its rewards available to claim; it doesn't award every item automatically. The finishing Outfit style in each two-page character block also requires the other relevant rewards to be claimed.

The standard track has 100 visible claim slots. After clearing it, the paid Bonus Rewards area contains 50 more slots: 35 names are visible now and 15 late-track Super Style slots remain unrevealed. Bonus rewards cannot be bought past level 100, according to Epic's Battle Pass support; you need to keep earning XP while your paid pass access is active.

The free track currently contains 30 cosmetic rewards and 200 V-Bucks. Premium access unlocks the remaining standard rewards and raises the available currency total to 800 V-Bucks. The public tracker confirms the 200-V-Bucks free total but doesn't identify which two 100-V-Buck tiles are free, so those eight rows are marked “Verify in game” below rather than guessed.

All Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Battle Pass Outfits

Override has eight principal Outfits. The alternate looks below are styles of those Outfits, not extra skins. All eight current Outfit records support a LEGO style.

Sonic the Hedgehog and Super Sonic

Sonic is the paid pass's immediate Outfit grant. His Sonic the Hedgehog set spans the Sonic Ring Pickaxe, Green Hill Race Loading Screen, Blue Streak instrument, Backup Ring Portal Back Bling, and a set of Tails-themed items. Clearing the Sonic pages unlocks the gold Super Sonic style and its built-in Go Super Sonic transformation emote.

Tails is a Sidekick, not an Outfit. He is a premium page-two claim. Tails Pad and Tails Tech are free-track items, while Tails Spanner and Tails Lander require premium access. Sidekick quests are separate progression after the initial claim.

Wrixel and Build-A-Wrixel

Wrixel opens at level 10. The Build-A-Ville set starts with Haze and Helsie as the two standard-page themes, plus the Simple Torch, Item Block, Blocky Dropper, 8-Bit Retros Kicks, and Build It! Jam Track. Wrixel's larger customization system uses quest-earned components rather than treating every combination as a new Outfit.

Phantom and Arctic Stealth

Phantom also opens at level 10. The Valor Strike: Global Frontier set centers on the Phantom Hatchet and Valor Team Tactical Pack, with free-track CLUTCHED and RATATAT cosmetics. Clear both pages for Arctic Stealth Phantom; the later Bonus track adds Chaos Agent Phantom.

Mali and Slappy Slurpwaters

Mali's pages open at level 35. Her Island Brawler XII set includes the Serpent Strikers, King of the Serpents Glider, Meowscles Training Bust, and Invincible Jam Track. Slappy Slurpwaters is the page-pair completion style; Gloomwarden Grove is the named Bonus style.

Bastian and Midnight Oath

Bastian shares the level-35 gate. His The Ancient Tale set contains the Seeker's Sword & Shield, Seeker's Soarer, Bastian's Cloak, and Monster Smash Emote. Midnight Oath completes the standard pair; Sandseeker Bastian appears in Bonus Rewards.

K1ttyW1ns and Neon Night

The exact in-game item name is K1ttyW1ns, although Epic's marketing page spaces it as “K1tty W1ns.” Her level-60 Go Kat! set includes W1ns' Wheel, the Kitty Cart Glider, Lil' Kitty Cart Emote, and racing-themed cosmetics. Neon Night finishes the standard pages, while Alpine Ice is the named Bonus style.

Grace Crowne and Undercover

Grace Crowne's Stealth's Crowne set opens at level 60. It includes Venom & Toxin, The W.A.S.P., Serpentine Kit, and Laser Infiltration. Undercover Grace Crowne is the standard finishing style; Serpentine Operative appears in Bonus Rewards. The separate Infiltrator launch bundle is expired and is not part of the eight-Outfit count.

Geno and Ageless Geno

Geno's final two pages open at level 85. His Reality's Reign set includes Geno's Wrath, Conduits of Power, Steps of the Regent, and the deliberately repeated in-game name Rift Rift Wrecker. Ageless Geno and the built-in Shapeless Shift emote finish the main track. Ordered and Void variants exist in current data but had no publicly verified quest unlock on September 2, so this guide does not invent one.

Complete Override main-track reward inventory

This table lists every one of the 100 visible main-track claim slots exactly once. “Level gate” means the minimum level that opens that two-page character block; individual claims still have page prerequisites. Companion forms and automatic grants are documented after the table so they don't inflate the slot count.

Automatic and companion grants: the Blue Streak Guitar has linked Pickaxe and Back Bling forms; claiming Tails links the Tails Times Two Emoticon; and finishing certain Outfit styles grants extra portraits or banners. Verified automatic grants include Sonic Sprite, Mali's Hero Portrait, K1ttyW1ns' Hero Portrait, Grace Crowne's Hero Portrait, Geno's Villain Portrait, and The Final Boss. These are attached objects, not extra main-track claim slots.

Override Bonus Rewards and unrevealed Super Styles

The Bonus area has 50 slots. Thirty-five have public names; the final 15 are three unrevealed slots for each of Mali, Grace Crowne, Bastian, K1ttyW1ns, and Phantom. All Bonus Rewards require paid pass access and continued XP after the main track. Current interface reporting points to a September 17 reveal, but Epic had not published the item names or designs by our verification date.

Gloomwarden Grove Mali, Serpentine Operative Grace Crowne, Sandseeker Bastian, Alpine Ice K1ttyW1ns, and Chaos Agent Phantom are the five currently named Bonus Outfit styles. They remain styles of the same five Outfits.

How to unlock Build-A-Wrixel styles

Own the pass, reach Wrixel's level-10 block, and claim Wrixel before pursuing the extra components. Haze and Helsie come from the standard pages. Fifteen additional named themes are connected to current quests:

The resulting components can be mixed across body, clothing, pattern, hair or headwear, and accessory categories. Epic's current Ziggy support notice acknowledges a progress bug that can leave the relevant counter at 8/9; Epic says a future update will address it.

Launch-week and gifting rewards

Infiltrator Grace Crowne: expired

Players who obtained the pass before August 27, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET qualified for Infiltrator Grace Crowne and matching Infiltrator's Kit, Infiltrator's Venom & Toxin, and Infiltration W.A.S.P. styles. That historical offer is over. Already-qualified players keep the cosmetics, but buying the pass now doesn't reopen the deadline.

Peril Peak Mali: active gift promotion

Epic's Override announcement says gifting the Chapter 7 Season 4 Battle Pass at any point in the season grants both the sender and recipient Peril Peak Mali, Peril Peak Serpent, Peril Serpent Strikers, and Peril Peak Meowscles Bust. As of September 2, that offer remains active while the pass is live. Check the in-game gift panel before purchase because eligibility and the season schedule can change.

Which Override rewards are free?

The free track contains 30 cosmetics plus 200 V-Bucks. The green “Free” labels in the main inventory identify every verified free cosmetic. They include four items each from Sonic, Wrixel, Phantom, Mali, Bastian, and Grace; three each from K1ttyW1ns and Geno. Buying the pass or retaining qualifying Crew access is required for every Outfit, Tails, all named Bonus Rewards, and the remaining standard rewards.

The pass advertises up to 800 V-Bucks in total—enough for the next 800-V-Buck pass if you claim all of them and Epic's pricing remains unchanged. Don't read that as an automatic refund: the currency has to be unlocked before the season ends.

How to unlock Override rewards efficiently

1. Claim Sonic first. He is available immediately with the paid pass, while the rest of his block begins opening from level 2.
2. Plan around the pair gates. Wrixel and Phantom open at 10; Mali and Bastian at 35; K1ttyW1ns and Grace at 60; Geno at 85.
3. Keep enough claims for the finishing style. Reaching a gate alone doesn't satisfy every page prerequisite.
4. Use the Quest screen for Wrixel and Sidekick tasks. It is safer than following fixed community map callouts after a live update.
5. Continue after level 100. Bonus Rewards require XP, and the final visible track extends to level 200.
6. Finish before November 1 ET. Epic can schedule downtime around the transition, so don't leave the final claims to the deadline.

Can Override Battle Pass rewards return later?

They are eligible to appear in the Fortnite Shop at least 18 months after the pass expires. Epic does not promise that every reward will return, and a later listing can include a different selection of styles. Licensed collaboration items such as Sonic and Tails can also depend on third-party agreements.

It costs 800 V-Bucks. Qualifying Fortnite Crew access also includes it while the subscription entitlement is active.

When does the Override Battle Pass end?

Epic schedules it to end on November 1, 2026, Eastern Time. Epic doesn't give an exact hour on the public pass page, so this guide doesn't invent one.

How do you unlock the Sonic Fortnite skin?

Buy the Override Battle Pass or obtain it through qualifying Crew access. The base Sonic the Hedgehog Outfit is granted with the paid pass. Clear the two Sonic pages to unlock Super Sonic and the built-in Go Super Sonic emote.

Is Tails a Fortnite skin?

No. Tails is a Sidekick on Sonic page 2. He accompanies you as a cosmetic companion; Tails Pad, Spanner, Lander, Tech, and Times Two are separate matching items.

How many Override Bonus Rewards are there?

There are 50 Bonus slots. Thirty-five names were visible on September 2, while 15 late-track Super Style slots were still unrevealed.

Is there a secret Chapter 7 Season 4 Outfit?

Epic had not announced a ninth principal Outfit by September 2. Current unreleased data points to additional Geno styles, not a confirmed extra character, so rumor names are excluded.

Can you claim earned rewards after the season ends?

Don't rely on post-season access. Claim the rewards you want before the Battle Pass ends. A possible Shop return at least 18 months later is separate and is never guaranteed.

How this inventory was verified

Epic's live Battle Pass and launch announcement control the price, dates, Outfit lineup, Crew access, progression, promotions, and return policy. Exact reward names, item types, page labels, and free-track flags were reconciled against current cosmetic records because Epic's consumer page doesn't expose the full 100-row inventory in text. Where the current public sources don't resolve a detail—most notably the exact two free V-Bucks pages—the table says so.

The count is claim-slot based: 100 main slots plus 50 Bonus slots. Styles aren't counted as separate Outfits, and automatic companion grants, Build-A-Wrixel components, and promotional bundles sit outside that 150-slot track. This prevents the common mistake of presenting a database's 105 cosmetic records as the number of Battle Pass rewards.
