In Arc Raiders, not every piece of loot is meant to be sold or broken down for parts. Some items play a key role in events, projects, and long-term progression. One of those items is the Frying Pan, a required resource for completing the final page of the Flickering Flames event Project.
The problem is that Arc Raiders doesn’t tell you exactly where to find it. There’s no marked spawn point, no clear hint, and no guaranteed drop. Because of that, many players end up wasting runs searching in the wrong places. In this guide, we’ll break down where the Frying Pan can spawn, the best areas to search, and the most efficient farming routes to help you find it faster without burning through unnecessary raids.

The Frying Pan is a valuable utility item in Arc Raiders, both for progression and resources. You can sell one for 640 Coins or recycle it into eight Metal Parts, making it useful even beyond event objectives. If you’re farming Frying Pans efficiently, your best bet is to focus on residential-style locations.
The most reliable area to search is Dam Battlegrounds, especially the Pale Apartments and Ruby Residence on the west side of the map. These locations have multiple interior rooms and loot containers, which significantly increases your chances of finding household items like Frying Pans. If you spawn close to these buildings, head there immediately, as they’re often looted early.
Even if you arrive late and the area looks cleared out, it’s still worth checking. Many players ignore Frying Pans since they’re heavy and not everyone needs them, meaning they’re sometimes left behind. If you didn’t spawn nearby, running a free loadout can help—simply drop in, rush the apartments, and reset if needed.
Inside residential buildings, prioritize checking drawers, kitchen cabinets, lockers, and shelves, as Frying Pans commonly spawn in these containers. Environmental conditions like Electromagnetic Storms or Cold Snap can slightly improve loot quality, but they also increase risk, so make sure you’re prepared before farming during those events.
Once you’ve collected two Frying Pans, you can turn them in through the Projects tab to earn 1,000 Merits, making this grind well worth the effort if you’re progressing through event content or upgrades.
Here are some additional places where you can reliably look for Frying Pans in Arc Raiders if the main residential zones are already looted. These locations follow the same loot logic, meaning Frying Pans can spawn inside drawers, cupboards, shelves, and small containers found in living spaces and abandoned buildings. In Buried City, check Grandioso Apartments, Santa Maria Houses, and the Red Tower, as all three areas feature dense residential interiors with plenty of searchable furniture. Over in The Blue Gate, the Village, Raider’s Refuge, and the Ruined Homestead are solid alternatives, especially during quieter raids where fewer players pass through. While these spots aren’t as fast as Dam Battlegrounds, rotating between them can still net Frying Pans consistently if you loot thoroughly and extract safely.
Finding a Frying Pan in Arc Raiders can feel annoying at first since there’s no fixed spawn, but once you know where to look, it becomes much easier. By focusing on residential areas like apartments, houses, and homesteads across maps such as Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, and The Blue Gate, you can greatly improve your chances of finding one quickly. Checking drawers, cabinets, and lockers every run, using free loadouts, and resetting runs when you spawn far away are simple tricks that save time and effort. With a bit of patience and smart routing, you’ll collect the Frying Pans you need to finish the Flickering Flames Project and move on without wasting raids.
Learn where to find the Frying Pan in Arc Raiders, including the best maps, buildings, and farming routes to complete the Flickering Flames Project fast.
