Clash of Clans does not have an official native macOS client. The lowest-risk way to play from a Mac is Apple's iPhone Mirroring on a compatible Mac and iPhone, because the game still runs on the supported iPhone. AirPlay can display the phone on a Mac but does not provide full Mac control.
Google Play Games on PC is an official desktop option for Windows, not macOS. Third-party Android emulators exist for Mac, but Supercell does not provide a supported Mac emulator route, and its Terms address unauthorized emulators and software that modify or interfere with the service.

Method 1: use iPhone Mirroring
Apple's iPhone Mirroring lets you interact with an iPhone and its apps from a nearby Mac while the phone remains locked. Clash of Clans is still running on the iPhone, so you are not installing an unofficial Mac build.
Requirements
- A Mac with Apple silicon or the Apple T2 Security Chip running macOS Sequoia 15 or later.
- An iPhone on iOS 18 or later with a passcode.
- The same Apple Account on both devices with two-factor authentication.
- Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled, with the locked iPhone near the Mac.
Regional limitation: Apple says iPhone Mirroring is currently unavailable in the European Union. Use AirPlay to view the screen or play directly on a supported phone instead.
Setup steps
- Install or update Clash of Clans on the iPhone and connect the village to Supercell ID.
- Open iPhone Mirroring from Applications, the Dock, or Spotlight on the Mac.
- Select the nearby iPhone and complete Apple's authentication prompt.
- Open Clash of Clans inside the mirrored iPhone window.
- Use the Mac pointer and keyboard gestures supported by iPhone Mirroring. Multi-touch-heavy actions may still feel more natural on the phone.
Method 2: mirror the display with AirPlay or QuickTime
AirPlay to Mac enlarges the iPhone or iPad display, but you continue tapping on the mobile device. Enable AirPlay Receiver under System Settings → General → AirDrop & Handoff, then choose the Mac from Screen Mirroring in the mobile Control Center.
For a wired display, connect the iPhone to the Mac, open QuickTime Player, choose File → New Movie Recording, and select the iPhone as the camera source. This reduces wireless instability, but it still does not turn the Mac keyboard and mouse into native game controls.
What to know before using a Mac Android emulator
A third-party emulator creates an Android environment and may support keyboard and mouse mapping. That sounds convenient, but it is not an official Supercell macOS client. Compatibility can break after game, emulator, or macOS updates, especially across Intel and Apple-silicon Macs.
Supercell's Terms prohibit unauthorized third-party software—including emulators—when used to modify or interfere with its services or game experience. Do not use macros, automation, modified APKs, root tools, or anything that provides unearned progress. Downloading an emulator from a random APK or mirror site also creates avoidable malware and credential risk.

Sync and protect your village first
- Connect the village to Supercell ID before changing devices.
- Use only the verification codes sent through Supercell's official flow; never share them with another person.
- Do not sign into Supercell ID on a shared or untrusted emulator.
- Keep your Apple Account and email protected by two-factor authentication.
Troubleshooting common Mac problems
- iPhone Mirroring cannot connect: lock the iPhone, keep it nearby, confirm Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are on, and stop active AirPlay, Sidecar, or Mac internet sharing.
- The app is not available on the Mac App Store: do not sideload a repackaged copy. Run the supported mobile app through a mirroring method.
- AirPlay is laggy: move both devices to a stable local network or use the wired QuickTime display method.
- Your village is missing: stop before creating or overwriting progress and sign in through the correct Supercell ID.
